Welcome to our services at Linton (Trish Gentry) and Yetholm (Rev Colin) on the 2nd Sunday of Lent, both at 10am. There will be refreshments after the Yetholm service.
  • The Craft Group meets on Mondays at 2pm in Yetholm Kirk.
  • Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
  • The Prayer Service meets on Tuesdays at 12 noon at Yetholm Kirk.
  • The Lent Study Group meets on Thursday 5th March at 10.30am at 4 The Yett, Kirk Yetholm.
  • The Guild meets on Thursday 5th March for a business meeting at 2pm.
  • The World Day of Prayer will be held at 2pm in Morebattle on Friday 6th March.
  • The funeral of Donald McKenzie, Whitton, takes places at Morebattle Kirk on Tuesday 10th March at 12.15pm.
  • The Linton KIrk Heritage Association is raising funds to buy the building. Any contributions would be gratefully received. Please see flyers for details.

Next Sunday we have the ordination of an elder at Morebattle. This will be a united service at 10am

We hold our JOINT communion service at  Morebattle this Sunday at 10am on the first Sunday of Lent. All are very welcome. Please note that there is NO service at Yetholm.

transfiguration sunday

Our services on Sunday are both at 10am at Morebattle (led by Debbie Brown) and Yetholm (led by Rev Colin) for Transfiguration Sunday. All are very welcome. There will be refreshments after the service at Yetholm.
  • The Craft Group meets on Mondays at 2pm in Yetholm Kirk.
  • Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
  • The Prayer Service meets on Tuesdays at 12 noon at Yetholm Kirk.
  • Worship committee meets at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesday 17th February at 2pm.
  • There will be a service for Ash Wednesday at Hoselaw Chapel on 18th February at 12 noon.
  • A coffee morning for Christian Aid will be held at Morebattle Institute on Saturday 21st February from 10.30-12 noon. Baking appreciated, and there will be a box in both Yetholm and Morebattle for items for the Tombola.

Holy God your Son Jesus was wonderfully transfigured in front of his disciples
high upon the holy mountain. No longer a secret, we proclaim to all that Jesus Christ is Lord.  In the week that lies before us may we reflect your love in our families, our church and our community; so that the world can see that we are transformed by Christ and thereby draw others into Jesus' loving care. Amen

Everlasting God, help us to reflect the true light of Jesus who came not only to fulfil the law but to give his life as a ransom for us. We ask you to guide us into the coming week. Help us to know that you are close by, keep us from making mistakes and help us never to disappoint you through our words and actions. Amen.
