This Saturday, 15th March, we will host a performance of the ‘Upper Room’, a multimedia presentation with music, image and words of Jesus’ last week by Christian Stejskal. It will be at Yetholm Kirk at 6.30pm. Christian has been violinist in major orchestras and has presented his work at the Edinburgh Festival, and it should be a tremendous evening, so please come along and bring your friends. Free entry, but donations welcome.

• The Guild Coffee morning will be held on Saturday 29th March in Morebattle Institute from 10.30am.
• Next Sunday there will be a united service at 11am in Morebattle. The Moderator, Rt Rev Dr Shaw Paterson, will preach. There will also be infant  baptism. There will be lunch afterwards.

You spoke to your servant Abram telling him not to be afraid; to use you as his shield; and to expect a great reward.  When during the coming weeks of Lent I am discouraged by my weakness, give me confidence in your love.
