We welcome everyone to our services at Yetholm and Morebattle, both at 10am. Rev Muriel Pearson, minister at Tiberias in the Holy Land, will preach at Yetholm and Stuart Kelly at Morebattle. Please stay for refreshments after the service at Yetholm. We remind visitors to sign the Visitors’ Book.
  • There will be an opportunity to meet Muriel over a potluck lunch at the manse in Morebattle at 1.15pm
  • There will be an evening communion service at Linton Sunday 21st at 6pm.
  • Craft Group meets at Yetholm Kirk on Mondays from 2pm. All welcome.
  • Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
  • Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 12 noon in Yetholm
  • The Yetholm Macmillan coffee morning is on Saturday 27th September at 10.30am in Wauchope Hall. Entry by donation. Also at Morebattle.
  • Presbytery’s Worship Leaders’ Course on the Gospels & Acts begins on Wednesday 22nd October. If interested, speak with Colin by this Sunday.
  • Colin is making a pilgrimage from Vigo to Santiago in Spain. It is 100km, and if you would like to sponsor him, sheets are available at the back of the church. He will be away from 22nd September to 2nd October
  • Yetholm Show Saturday 4th Oct. Anyone interested in helping to man the stall in Craft Tent please get in touch with Susan Stewart.
  • Thanks to all who donate to the Foodbank. It is short of the following: tins of meat, vegetables (tin) Potatoes (tin), jam, cereal, jars of pasta sauce, desserts.
  • The first meeting of the Cheviot Churches Guild will be on Thursday 9th October at 2pm in Morebattle Institute. Rev Colin will speak on the theme ‘Living Stones’. All are welcome
  • The annual Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal is underway, making a difference to someone living in poverty this Christmas. Please see posters. All boxes to be handed in by 19th October please.
  • The Crossreach catalogue is now available for perusal in the Morebattle and Yetholm churches. If you wish to order Christmas cards or calendars    please use the order form provided by 10th October.
Next Sunday we have our services at 10am at Morebattle (Rev Ian Clark) and Yetholm (Arthur Bates).  In the afternoon the KCT Songs of Praise will be in the Square, Kelso, at 2.30pm, led by the Jedburgh Brass Band.

  • There will be an opportunity to meet Pastor Rai from the Diocese of the Eastern Himalayas on Sunday afternoon at Yetholm Kirk (4pm).
  • Craft Group meets at Yetholm Kirk on Mondays from 2pm. All welcome.
  • Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
  • Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 12 noon in Yetholm
  • The Kirk Session meets on Thursday 18th September at 7pm at Morebattle.
  • Articles for the Cheviot should be in by Saturday 20th September.
  • Next Sunday Rev Muriel Pearson, minister in Tiberias, will be with us, leading worship at Yetholm at 10am. There will be a potluck lunch at the manse in Morebattle at 1.15pm. She will speak about the situation in the Middle east and the Church’s involvement.
  • The Cheviot Churches Coffee Morning raised the sum of £553.60. Thanks to all who helped and who attended.

  • Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
  • Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 12 noon in Yetholm
  • Mission committee meets on Tuesday 9th September in Yetholm at 3pm.
  • Cheviot Churches Coffee morning on Wednesday 10th September at 10.30am at Wauchope Hall, Town Yetholm. Entry by donation.
  • The Guild Rededication Service will be held next Sunday, 14th September, at Morebattle at 10am.
  • The Kirk Session meets on Thursday 18th September at 7pm at Morebattle.
  • We will host an Indian visitor on the weekend of 12-14th September and Rev Muriel Pearson, minister at Tiberias, on Sunday 21st September, which will include a potluck lunch at the manse.
