epiphany 5+

Our services on Sunday are both at 10am at Morebattle (led by Rev Colin) and Yetholm (led by Pippa Emerson) for the 5th Sunday of Epiphany. All are very welcome. There will be refreshments after the service at Yetholm.

• The Craft Group meets on Mondays at 2pm in Yetholm Kirk.
  
• Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
• The Prayer Service meets on Tuesdays at 12 noon at Yetholm Kirk.
• Worship committee meets on Tuesday 17th February at 2pm.
• There will be a service for Ash Wednesday at Hoselaw Chapel on 18th February at 12 noon.
  
• A coffee morning for Christian Aid will be held at Morebattle Institute on Saturday 21st February from 10.30-12 noon. Baking appreciated, and there will be a box in both Yetholm and Morebattle for items for the Tombola.
  
• Articles for The Cheviot should be in by the end of the month.
  
• The Lent Study Group begins Thursday 26th February at 10.30am. Anyone interested in joining it, please speak to Arthur Bates.
  
• The Linton KIrk Heritage Association is working non-stop to raise funds to buy the building. Any contributions would be gratefully received. Please see flyers for details.
  
• Services next Sunday are at Yetholm (Rev Colin) and Morebattle (Debbie Brown) both at 10 am.

Weekly Prayer
Everlasting God, help us to reflect the true light of Jesus who came not only to fulfil the law but to give his life as a ransom for us. We ask you to guide us into the coming week. Help us to know that you are close by, keep us from making mistakes and help us never to disappoint you through our words and actions. Amen.
