Call to Worship
Sow for yourselves righteousness.
For it is time to seek the Lord.
Break up your fallow ground.
For it is time to seek the Lord.
Bring the first fruits of all your produce.
For it is time to seek the Lord.
Reap steadfast love.
For it is time to seek the Lord.

Prayer
Father God, we give you thanks that once again the earth has produced her increase. All over our beautiful world the harvest of grain is drying, ready for feed and bread and the harvest of roots, crops and vegetables have been lifted or picked and stored. Thank you too for the reminder "that we do not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord". Amen
