Christian aid sunday

We welcome everyone to our services at Yetholm and Morebattle (10am) for Christian Aid Sunday. Rev Colin will lead the Morebattle service and Trish Gentry the Yetholm service. Please wait for refreshments after the Yetholm service.

• Please note that the time for the Morebattle service will now be 10am.
• This is Christian Aid Week. Please give generously.
• Yetholm Village Choir hold their Spring Concert, ‘Spring Bouquet’, at St Andrew’s Church Kelso on Sunday 11th May at 4pm. Entry by donation.
• Service of Linkage will take place on Wednesday 14th May at 7pm at Kelso Old Church. I hope there will be a good attendance from Cheviot Churches.
• Craft Group meets on Mondays at 2pm in Yetholm
  
• Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
• Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 12 noon in Yetholm
• Rev Colin will be a commissioner at the General Assembly this year (17-22 May). Please keep the meeting in your prayers.

Next Sunday we have our services at Yetholm and Morebattle, both at 10am. Rev Colin will lead the Yetholm service, and Pippa Emerson will be at Morebattle.

Lord, you are faithful to your promises.
Through the Spirit you bless us with abounding hope. When power seeks to  silence justice, give us the courage to raise our voice. When an end to poverty seems far off, renew our faith in your kingdom come on earth. When our neighbour reaches out, inspire us to respond with overflowing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
