pentecost 11 - exploring new places

Welcome to our services at Yetholm (10am) and Linton (11.15am). Our theme is: Exploring new places.

• Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 6.30 -7pm at Linton Kirk. All welcome.
• Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk  on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
• We will have a Songs of Praise in Morebattle on the evening of the 25th August. Please let us know if you have a favourite hymn.
• We are sad to note the death of Rev Marion Dodd. There will be a Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday 27th August at 1pm at Melrose Parish Church.
• Foodbank needs: vegetables (tins), dessert (tins), cereal, pk rice, potatoes (tin), jam.
• Next Sunday our services are at Yetholm (10am) and Morebattle (11.15). Our theme will be: Cultural Tour

Christ our teacher, you open our minds to new possibilities and demand the best we can give. Instruct us in the grammar of love that we might practise justice and compassion and be shaped by your example, instructed by your Spirit and in all things and in all things accountable to you. Amen
