Welcome to our services at Yetholm (10am) and Morebattle (11.15am) for the 19th Sunday after Pentecost.

• Tonight there will be communion at Linton Kirk at 6pm. All welcome
• The Craft Group meet on Mondays at 2pm in Yetholm Kirk.
• Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
• Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 12 noon in Yetholm Kirk.
• The Guild will meet on Thursday 3rd October at 2pm at Morebattle Institute. Rev Colin will speak on the theme: Let us build the house: sure foundations.
• Our Cheviot Churches Recipe Book is published is on sale at the Yetholm Show before going on public sale for £10. An excellent Christmas present.
• Volunteers are requested for the Cheviot Churches stand at Yetholm Shepherds’ Show on 5th October. Please see sheet at back of the church. Also, any jams, chutneys or garden produce to sell.
• Sponsored Walk will be on Saturday 12th October. Sponsor forms available.
• Foodbank needs: vegetables (tins), tomatoes (tins), potatoes (tin), puddings.
• Next Sunday our services are at Yetholm (10am) and Linton (11.15), where we celebrate harvest.

 Holy God, your law is perfect and your statutes are trustworthy and so we pray to you, knowing that you will hear our prayers and answer them in your way.
We pray for all people who seek to be salt and light as followers of you and help us speak your word of truth with confidence and with love. Amen
