Our services this Sunday are at Morebattle, led by Rev Colin, and at Yetholm, led by Graeme Watson. Both services are at 10am. All welcome.

• There will be a communion service at Yetholm tonight at 6pm.
• Craft Group meets at Yetholm Kirk on Mondays from 2pm. All welcome.
• Coffee and chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 -12 noon. All welcome.
• Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 12 noon in Yetholm
• The Roxburgh Cluster meeting will be on Wednesday 29th October at 2pm at Kelso Old.
• The Guild meets on Thursday 6th November at 2pm at the Morebattle Institute. The speaker is Mrs Debbie Playfair-Hannay, and her topic is ‘From the Borderlands to the battlefields’. All welcome.
• Sarah Cook will be ordained and inducted to Jedburgh & Oxnam l/w Ale & Teviot on Thursday 6th November. Time to be advised.
• Kelso Old are holding a Quiz on Friday 7th November. Please see the notice.

Next Sunday we have our services at Yetholm (led by Rev Colin) and Linton (led by Debbie Brown), both at 10am. We will also hold a service at Hownam Kirk at 3pm to mark its official closure, though services can continue until it is sold.

Merciful God, help us when praying to be like the tax-collector, who was honest and contrite in his prayers. We call on the name of the Lord so that we too might experience your forgiveness and salvation. Today as we go, help us to entrust the past to your mercy, the present to your love and the future to your wisdom. Amen
