Ascension/ christian aid sunday

We welcome everyone to our services at Yetholm (10am) and Morebattle (11.15) on the Ascension/ Christian Aid Sunday.

• Christian Aid Week runs from the 12- 18th May. Envelopes will be distributed round the villages. Please give generously and pop the envelope into either of the village shops. Alternatively there are envelopes at the back of the church for those living in outlying areas.
• The funeral of Michael Gamble is on Monday 13th May at 12.45pm at Hownam Kirk.
• The Craft Group meets at Yetholm Kirk on Mondays at 2pm. All welcome.
• Coffee & Chat at Yetholm Kirk on Tuesdays from 10.30 – 12 noon. All welcome.
• Prayer Service is on Tuesdays at 12 noon in Yetholm Kirk. All welcome.
• Please submit your recipes for the new Cookbook.
• On the 26th May we welcome Rev Norman Smith, Presbytery Clerk, as our guest preacher. Colin will be leading worship in Stichill before Country Churches unite with Kelso North & Ednam on 16th June.
• Foodbank needs: vegetables (tins), tomatoes (tins), puddings (tins), cereal, pasta sauce
• Next Sunday is Pentecost with a united service at the walled garden at Yetholm Hall at 11am, weather permitting!  There will be communion, followed by a picnic (Bring your own lunch. Bring your own chair too, though there will be some there).
