Epiphany 3

We welcome everyone to our services at Yetholm (10am) and Morebattle (11.15) on the third Sunday of Epiphany. Please stay for refreshments after the Yetholm service. The services today will be led by Arthur and Kathleen Bates, as Colin is on Interim Moderator duties at Makerstoun.

• The Craft Group meets at Yetholm Kirk on Mondays at 2pm. All welcome.
• The funeral of Jean Hutcheon takes place on Tuesday 23rd January at 12.30 at Yetholm Kirk with the burial at 1.30pm.
• There will be an ecumenical service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity on Tuesday 23rd January at 2.30pm at Kelso Old.
• Please note that there will be no Coffee Morning or Prayer Service this Tuesday.
• Cheviot Churches Coffee morning is on Saturday 27th January in Morebattle.
• The Kirk Session meets on Wednesday 31st January at 7pm by Zoom.
• We will be running our Lent Study groups from Thursday 22nd February using Embrace the Middle East material. Anyone interested, please speak to Arthur, so we can order books.
• Food Bank requires: rice (small pks), tinned vegetables, tinned tomatoes.
• The services next Sunday will be led by Colin. There will also be a Zoom communion at 4pm in the afternoon.

Weekly Prayer
Almighty God, today finds us in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity; help us to listen to your voice still calling us to unity in our diversity. Thank you that you are aways a God of the second chance. Help us to keep our commitment to always follow you with our whole heart and trust in you. Amen
